Preserving the moments that matter
From Childhood to Bridehood
I have known Madison since childhood. We attended each others birthday parties and sat at the same table for lunch. We went to events together and she was even in the car with me when I had my first ever car wreck. We hung out all the way through high school but like most things in life time moves on and people grow and drift. We attended different colleges and were surrounded with new people and new environments and while we may not have remained as close as we were before there was always a love for each other and a wish and hope for the other success. When I began in my photography career Madison was there to model for me to practice. It's because of moments like that that I have grown to be the photographer that I am!
I was so excited when I learned that Madison was about to graduate and start her residency in General Surgery. I was also excited to hear when she got engaged to her best friend and other half. She reached out to me one day to see about photographing her wedding and to me that is the biggest compliment one can receive. When a friend you have known for a long time trusts you and wishes for you to be apart of their big day it means that out of all photographers they could have had they chose you. She told me it was going to be a very small and intimate wedding with just family and very few friends and I was so ready for it! It was held in the beautiful Rose Garden at Ault Park in Ohio. Originally it was calling for rain but thankfully the heavens were looking down on us and albeit being chilly we had nothing but partly sunny skies.
I always offer complimentary engagement sessions to my clients when they book their weddings with me however since this was such a small wedding and was planned relatively quickly we didn't get the chance to do an engagement session so I met Anthony on the big day and it was such a pleasure. He was such a sweet, caring, and funny guy and I could tell instantly how much love he held for my long time friend. Their personalities, quirks, and dreams match so well that it was a match made in heaven. Not only did they hear the calling to help people in the field of medicine/healthcare but they heard the calling to each other as well.
Congratulations Madison and Anthony on your marriage and I wish you both nothing but the best of wishes and the brightest of days.
